About me

I’m Jim Goffred, founder of VinServe. I got my start behind the bar in 1998 and have been immersed in the wine world since 2004. Along the way, I’ve earned several industry certifications, but more importantly, I’ve developed a passion for making wine education useful, clear, and accessible to every restaurant professional. The VinServe Level 1 Course is the first in a series of practical training programs designed to help you increase your wine sales, boost your confidence, and open doors to higher-end restaurants with serious wine programs. No fluff, but just the knowledge that actually helps on the floor.
